In a magnanimous gesture, the Ambanis plan to host another round of grand pre-wedding festivities, including a mass wedding for the underprivileged.

The Ambanis have announced that, as part of the pre-wedding celebrations, Mukesh and Nita Ambani will organize a mass wedding for the underprivileged on July 2 at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar. The gesture has garnered widespread admiration, highlighting the couple’s dedication to philanthropy amidst the splendor of their own celebrations. The main wedding event will take place at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. To seek divine blessings and mark the auspicious beginning of the celebrations, Nita Ambani, the Founder and Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Monday, where she offered the first wedding invitation to Lord Shiva.

The wedding festivities are meticulously planned, paying homage to traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The main ceremonies will commence on Friday, July 12, with the Shubh Vivah, or wedding function. According to sources, guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional Indian attire, reflecting the cultural heritage that the families hold dear.

The celebratory spirit will carry over into Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad, a day dedicated to conveying blessings and well-wishes to the bride and groom. The grand finale, Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14. This event will feature a dress code of ‘Indian chic,’ adding a modern twist to traditional attire and promising a visually stunning evening.
