Khan’s brave fight against stage 3 breast cancer, coupled with her willingness to share her experience publicly, has made her a symbol of resilience for many.

Sonali Bendre’s battle with stage 4 Metastatic Cancer in 2018 was another high-profile case that garnered immense public support and attention. She underwent rigorous treatment in New York and proudly entered remission in 2021. Since then, Bendre has been an advocate for cancer awareness and has often shared her journey to offer hope to others.

Tahira Kashyap, a filmmaker, and author, was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer, also known as Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS), in her right breast.

One of Malhotra’s notable contributions is through the Mijwan Welfare Society, an organization focused on empowering women in rural India via education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. Over the years, Malhotra has organized various fashion shows to raise funds and support for the organization, providing design training to its women beneficiaries. In 2021, he joined hands with the Swades Foundation, which promotes rural development in Maharashtra, to create a line of handwoven saris, with a portion of the proceeds going to the NGO’s initiatives.

On the professional front, Sonali Bendre was last seen in the ZEE5 series ‘The Broken News.’ Hina Khan recently appeared alongside Gippi Grewal in the Punjabi comedy film ‘Shinda Shinda No Papa.’ Meanwhile, Tahira Kashyap’s directorial debut ‘Sharmajee Ki Beti’ received critical acclaim on Amazon Prime Video.
