Tiger Shroff’s Alleged Rs 165 Crore Fee and Pooja Entertainment’s Financial Struggles Under Scrutiny

In a recent turn of events, Pooja Entertainment, a well-known production house in Bollywood, finds itself under intense scrutiny amid reports of a financial crisis. According to these reports, the company allegedly has a debt of Rs 250 crore. In the midst of this financial tumult, speculations about actor Tiger Shroff’s remuneration have come to the forefront, hinting that he might have charged a whopping Rs 165 crore for his role in two of their movies.

The buzz around Pooja Entertainment’s financial health gained momentum last week, as multiple sources reported that the company is grappling with substantial debt. One of the key points of these reports was the claim that Akshay Kumar had been paid Rs 165 crore for his four-film stint with the production house. However, producer Suneel Darshan refuted these claims in an interview with Times Now, stating that the figure mentioned more closely aligns with Tiger Shroff’s fee rather than Akshay Kumar’s.

“I can’t comment since the figure mentioned by you seems inaccurate. That seems to be closer to Tiger Shroff’s price,” Suneel remarked, stirring the pot further regarding the financial dynamics within Pooja Entertainment.

Pooja Entertainment, managed by Jackky Bhagnani and his father Vashu Bhagnani, has seen Tiger Shroff feature in two major productions—Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ganapath. Both films were made with sizable budgets but unfortunately did not fare well at the box office. Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, has appeared in four films under the banner: Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Bell Bottom, Mission Raniganj, and Cuttputlli.

When probed further about the financial specifics, especially regarding Tiger Shroff’s fee, Suneel chose to remain tight-lipped. “I wouldn’t like to comment on that. But I will say this: Vashu Bhagnani enjoyed a ‘Midas Touch’ phase in the 1990s when he collaborated with David Dhawan for almost half a dozen movies,” he said, offering some historical context about Vashu Bhagnani’s successful run in the industry during the 90s.

The financial instability of Pooja Entertainment has triggered several responses from various quarters. Foremost among them, a couple of crew members who have worked on projects backed by Pooja Entertainment have publicly expressed their grievances. Using platforms like Instagram, these crew members have aired their frustrations about delayed payments, adding another layer of controversy to the already troubled production house.

One of the more vocal individuals, Ruchita Kamble, detailed her ordeal on Instagram, sharing not just her experience but also screenshots of conversations highlighting the plight of others in a similar situation. “Not the one to ever make such posts but sometimes people need to be ousted! Seeing my team and the crew I worked with struggle day in and out to just get hold of our own hard-earned money has compelled me to make this post. Read the sheer frustration of these young girls who have beautifully stated the absolute disregard @pooja_ent has and the sheer unprofessional, unethical behaviour that we all have been tolerating for way too long,” she wrote.

The social media posts by Ruchita and others have put a spotlight on the internal workings of Pooja Entertainment, suggesting a pattern of unprofessional and unethical behaviour, particularly in terms of financial dealings and delayed payments. These allegations, combined with the reported debt, paint a grim picture of the company’s current state.

The unfolding financial saga of Pooja Entertainment underscores the volatility that often accompanies the glamour and glitz of the film industry. While the exact figures and details remain shrouded in a blend of speculation and partial disclosures, the ripple effect on the company’s reputation is undeniably significant.

As the story continues to develop, questions loom large over the future of Pooja Entertainment. Will they manage to navigate through this financial storm? And how will the alleged hefty payments to Bollywood stars like Tiger Shroff impact their financial recalibration?

While producer Suneel Darshan’s comments have momentarily quelled some rumors, they have also inadvertently opened a Pandora’s box, prompting further inquiries. Industry insiders and movie enthusiasts alike remain keenly interested, as each revelation has the potential to reshape the narrative around one of Bollywood’s prominent production houses.

As this financial drama unfolds, it serves as a stark reminder of the intricate financial negotiations and high stakes involved behind the scenes of glitz and glamour.
