Recounting the times around the film’s release, she revealed to ETimes, “I was out buying vegetables at Pali market when ‘Laila Majnu’ was nearing its release. I wondered if I would be able to step out after the release, anticipating that the public would recognize me. But, to my dismay, the film had a tepid reception; it broke my heart. Although I continued to receive film offers, none piqued my interest. I decided to focus on honing my skills and attended various workshops to maintain my sanity. It was then that ‘Bulbbul’ came along and altered my career.”
