The visit to the venerated Kashi Vishwanath Temple by Ranveer and Kriti, alongside Manish Malhotra, was marked by moments of spirituality and reverence. Ranveer, exuding devotion in a white kurta pyjama, expressed his profound experience at the holy site, stating his lifelong devotion to Lord Shiva and the moving energy and vibration of the city of Varanasi. He relayed his intention to bring the historic cultural heritage of Kashi to the spotlight through this fusion of modern fashion with tradition, an idea that he wants to extend globally in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local, Local for Global’ policy.

The fashion show, held at the Namo Ghat, was a segment of the two-day event on April 13-14, organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation, with the goal to uplift the local handloom and handicraft industry of Varanasi.
On the professional front, Ranveer is set to reprise his role as Simmba in the Rohit Shetty-directed ‘Singham Again’, featuring a stellar ensemble including Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. He is simultaneously gearing up for his lead role in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’, expected to make a smashing entry in 2025.
