Rajkummar Rao Clears the Air on Cosmetic Surgery Rumors While Confirming Chin Filler

Amidst the swirling rumors and heightened fan curiosity, Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has taken a moment to set the record straight regarding his appearance. At a recent public sighting during Diljit Dosanjh’s energetic concert, Rao’s distinct look became a hot topic of conversation, leading to speculations that the actor may have resorted to plastic surgery to alter his features. Nevertheless, Rao has come forward with a candid explanation, dismissing the plastic surgery rumors while admitting to a more subtle cosmetic enhancement.

In a personal revelation to Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao addressed the buzzing allegations, firmly stating that he has not ventured into the realm of plastic surgery. The actor clarified, “I have not done any plastic surgery, guys. It is just a bad photo. That is just a touch-up photo. I wish I had such clean and flawless skin because it looks like that. I was not wearing any makeup. But I must say it looks weird even for me. It was just a bad moment caught on camera. I have not done any plastic surgery.”

However, the National Film Award-winning actor did reveal that, about eight years ago, he opted to have some filler work done on his chin—an enhancement suggested by his dermatologist. Rao reflected on the decision, sharing, “I wanted to look more confident. Do I feel confident after that? Yes. Have I done better films after that? It has changed the perception. Acting is a visual media.” He continued to express his personal views on cosmetic procedures, saying, “I am not against it. If somebody wants to boost their confidence and the science is available, then why not. But no to plastic surgery. It is too expensive and time-consuming.”

Rajkummar Rao, known for his versatile roles and dedication to the craft of acting, is also making headlines for his professional ventures. Reports have it that Rao is all set to share the screen with Wamiqa Gabbi in an upcoming project, details of which are keenly anticipated by fans and industry insiders alike. In addition, audiences are eagerly awaiting Rao’s portrayal in the title role of the biographical drama ‘Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne’. The inspirational narrative centers around Srikanth Bolla, the visually impaired industrialist who defied odds to establish Bollant Industries.

The excitement around the film ‘Srikanth’ is further fueled by the inclusion of the remastered track “Papa Kehte Hai 2.0”, originally from the classic film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, featuring the iconic Aamir Khan. The much-anticipated remake of this beloved song is set for release on the 22nd of April, with none other than Aamir Khan himself gracing the launch. Producer Bhushan Kumar has reportedly informed Khan about the song’s recreation, capturing the spirit of Srikanth Bolla’s extraordinary life, to which the superstar has expressed his happiness and support.

The candid admittance by Rajkummar Rao regarding his choice to undergo a cosmetic filler procedure rather than plastic surgery reflects a growing trend among public figures who choose to be forthright about their aesthetic decisions. By doing so, Rao has both quenched the thirst of his inquisitive following and opened up a dialogue about the personal and professional implications of visual media. With his clarified stance on aesthetic modifications and his burgeoning career projects, Rajkummar Rao’s journey in the film industry continues to be one of compelling authenticity and promise.
