The dragon has landed! The trailer of Pradeep Ranganathan’s sophomore film as the lead, Dragon, has been released by the makers. The film is also filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu’s second Tamil directorial after Oh My Kadavule.
The trailer features Pradeep’s character in different stages of his life right from school days to that of a working professional. The film seems to focus on the trials and tribulations of a youngster trying hard to succeed in life.
Dragon’s trailer also shares a glimpse of its ensemble cast. With Anupama Parameshwaran and Kayadu Lohar playing the female leads, the film also stars KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Vj Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan and Thenappan.

With music scored by Leon James, the film has cinematography by Niketh Bommi and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Ashwath has also written the screenplay and dialogues of Dragon, having also written the story along with Pradeep Ranganathan.
AGS Entertainment, who had also produced Pradeep’s blockbuster Love Today, is also the banner behind the upcoming film. Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh produce the film with Archana Kalpathi serving as the creative producer.
Pradeep, who made his directorial debut in 2019 with the Jayam Ravi starrer Comali, shot to fame after the release of his sophomore film Love Today, in which he also starred as the protagonist. He will be seen next in director Vignesh Shivan’s upcoming film, Love Insurance Kompany, which stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead.
After Dragon, AGS Entertainment and Ashwath are once again teaming up for a film starring Silambarasan TR.
