Have you heard? Shooting some more action

The production team behind the much-anticipated action film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” featuring Bollywood heavyweights Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is reportedly heading for reshoots in the United Kingdom. Sources close to the project have revealed that the team is set to revisit certain scenes, necessitating shoots in various locations across London and Scotland.

These developments come as the industry gears up for the unveiling of the film’s first teaser, scheduled to premiere on Republic Day 2024. With the project’s high expectations, the decision for reshoots suggests a commitment to cinematic excellence. The filmmakers have shown readiness to refine the movie up until its grand release on Eid 2024. Preparations for the new shoot have been wrapped up, indicating that the project is on course for its two-week filming spell.

In a bid to ensure the action sequences are top-notch, the production has enlisted renowned cinematographer Benjamin Jasper. Jasper’s previous work on the 2019 action-packed hit “War,” which also starred Tiger Shroff alongside Hrithik Roshan, has evidently impressed the makers of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” driving their decision to bring his expertise on board for the reshoot.

Elsewhere in Bollywood, Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, is preparing to tie the knot with her fiancé Nupur Shikhare. The couple’s families recently came together to kick off the wedding festivities, where they savored Maharashtrian cuisine served on banana leaves – a traditional and cultural delight that Ira enthusiastically shared on social media.

A throwback moment grabbed headlines when Shah Rukh Khan, amidst the ongoing success of his latest movie “Dunki,” reminisced about almost starring in “Munna Bhai MBBS.” SRK shared that an initial commitment to the film, largely due to his attraction to its title, was regrettably cut short due to a back injury. This led to the eventual casting of Sanjay Dutt, who not only took on a different role but became synonymous with the lead character.

The celebrity couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla have announced the arrival of twin daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa, sharing heartwarming images from a recent puja ceremony celebrating one month since their birth. Their fans were invited to send wishes for the newborns, who were blessed on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purab.

In relationship news, actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday were seen making separate, timely entrances at an airport, further fueling rumors about a romantic connection. The speculated couple has previously vacationed together and appear to be continuing this trend into the New Year.

Actress Shruti Haasan addressed marriage speculations after her partner Shantanu Hazarika was mistakenly referred to as her husband during an online Q&A. Haasan took to social media to clarify their status, advocating for a calm reaction from those outside her personal circle.

As the year draws to a close, some of Bollywood’s biggest names embark on their annual vacations. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, along with their sons Taimur and Jeh, are spending their holidays in Gstaad, Switzerland – a tradition that has been beloved by the couple for over a decade now. Kareena gave fans a glimpse into their travels, sharing a picture of their youngest son marveling at the view from their plane window as they start their New Year amidst the allure of the snowy Alps.

“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” enhanced by the decision for additional filming, is poised to be a landmark release with its producers committed to delivering an action spectacle that’s worthy of its star-studded cast. With reshoots planned and new talent roped in, the film’s path to Eid 2024 release seems paved with the promise of riveting action and breathtaking cinematic moments.
