Amongst the invitees, a number of A-listers have been confirmed as state guests for this momentous occasion.

The legendary Amitabh Bachchan is slated to make a grand appearance, arriving at the historic city of Ayodhya via a private chartered airplane specifically for the inauguration of the majestic 161-feet-tall shrine constructed of pink sandstone. The prominence of this event is highlighted by Bachchan’s esteemed presence, underscoring its national significance.

Adding glitz to the spiritual celebration, the revered Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is on the guest list alongside prominent figures from the Telugu film fraternity, including megastars Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and Junior NTR. The list of invitees, which has been accessed by the Press Trust of India (PTI), also includes the names of illustrious actress Kangana Ranaut, the iconic Madhuri Dixit, along with her spouse Dr. Shriram Nene.

The musical realm will lend its harmonious touch with the invites of vocalists Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher, Shankar Mahadevan, Anup Jalota, Sonu Nigam, and Anuradha Paudwal. Their attendance is sure to add a melodious serenity to the pious atmosphere of the temple’s consecration.

The guest list further takes a nostalgic turn with actors Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, who brought to life the characters of Ram and Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s cherished television series Ramayan, being among the distinguished attendees. Esteemed director Chandraprakash Dwivedi, folk singer Malini Awasthi, the sarod virtuoso Amjad Ali Khan, and the award-winning composer Ilayaraja and his family, which carries the musical lineage of the late singing doyen Lata Mangeshkar, are also expected.

Regional talent has not been overlooked, with respected figures such as Jahnu Barua, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Manju Borah, and Malcha Goswami adding diversity to the ceremony. The literary field will be represented as well, with eminent poet Manoj Muntashir and his wife, and the acclaimed lyricist and writer Prasoon Joshi and his wife also being among the honorary visitors.

There remains some uncertainty regarding the actual turnout of these invitees, and their confirmation is awaited with great anticipation.
