Describing the ceremony as a crossover between divine blessings and historical marvel, attendees shared their profound experiences and feelings of fortune to be part of this auspicious event.

Hema Malini, the celebrated film icon and an MP, was overtaken by the grandeur of the occasion, heralding it as “a historical moment.” Expressing her sentiments on a popular social media platform, she reflected on the significance of the event that was anticipated by the nation for myriad centuries. “I feel blessed to have attended the historical and spiritually enriching Pran Prathishta of Ram Lalla—an event awaited by our nation for 500 yrs,” Malini posited, recognizing the deep religious reverberations the ceremony holds for many.

Echoing her prior sentiments in an interview with ANI, Malini expressed that the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was a matter of pride for every Indian. She emphasized the importance of this connection, feeling herself privileged to be present during such transformative times. “The whole of Bollywood is ‘Ramamay’… The artists are singing Ram songs. I also sang a Ram Bhajan last year. Everybody is preparing everything for Lord Ram,” she mentioned, delineating the pervasive atmosphere of devotion across the film fraternity.

Vivek Oberoi, a familiar face in the film industry, was not left untouched by the ceremony’s solemn dignity. Overwhelmed with emotion, he shared with ANI the intense spiritual connection he felt when he laid eyes upon the sublime image of Ram Lalla. “The sculpting is so good. I feel that Lord Ram came within the sculpture… I was very emotional and I sought blessings for everyone in the family…”

Despite his first visit to the city, Oberoi noticed the overwhelming enthusiasm of the local people and the inherent devotion in the air. Discussing the broader socio-political nuances, he posited, “the political section may have an issue but the common man is happy and enthusiastic.” He marveled at the palpable wave of devotion and the collective excitement over Ram Lalla’s return after 500 years, noting, “Lord Ram has always connected people and society.”

Adding to the choir of voices, Ram Charan, a prominent actor in his own right, shared his elation at witnessing the sacred Pran Prathishta ceremony. Speaking with a sense of honor and blessing, he expressed the moment as “fantastic, it was so beautiful. Once in a lifetime. It’s an honour for everybody to witness this, to be born in our India and witness this. This is truly a blessing.”

The momentous occasion represents not only a milestone in the Indian cultural and religious landscape but also a collective moment of unity. As hearts across the nation beat in synchrony with the chants of devotion in Ayodhya, the presence and testimonies of these Bollywood celebrities underscore a shared national ethos rooted in spirituality and the arts. The event signifies a mosaic where tradition, history, and contemporary influence meld together, painting an indelible vignette of India’s rich cultural tapestry—a scene immortalized as much by its spiritual context as by the luminaries who graced it with their participation.
