In a stirring career move, Javeria Khan, the esteemed former captain of Pakistan’s women’s cricket team, has declared her departure from international cricket, leaving behind a legacy filled with splendid achievements and an impeccable dedication to the sport. Launching her career in the national team with her One Day International (ODI) debut in 2008, Javeria proceeded to make her mark in T20 Internationals the following year. Across a span of 15 years, she donned Pakistan’s colors in a commendable 228 international matches amassing nearly 5000 runs, a statistical testament to her prowess with the bat, which includes two centuries and 25 fifties.
