. Winning the toss and the way we bowled in the first six overs was where we won the game. We took early wickets and did well until the 12th over. Shadab and Babar took chances, and we knew they would. We knew it was a chaseable score and needed a good partnership from the top-three, which we managed.”
Monank emphasized that this victory was a collective team effort. “We got the game in our hand as me and Gous played till the 12th over. Playing in the World Cup, you don’t get a chance to do it every year. We knew we had to be fully committed every single ball against Pakistan. It was a complete effort from the team,” he concluded.
