A doorway to creative learning at The Hindu Lit for Life workshops


The Hindu Lit for Life will host six workshops on January 18 and 19 at the Lady Andal School premises, catering to different age groups. From creative writing to traditional games, curiosity finds a fit in these upcoming sessions.
On day 1, a workshop on techniques to calm an overstimulated nervous system will be facilitated by allied functional medicine practitioner and author Deepa Kannan, open to participants aged 18 and above. Author Ashwitha Jayakumar will lead a workshop on on understanding Mughals through their art for those aged 14 and above. For younger participants aged 13-17, author Vibha Batra will facilitate a session for unbounded imaginations and the art of creative writing.
Day 2 workshops will start with the playful side of Maths, a session for participants aged 15-25 along with mathematicians Nivedita Ganesh & Inavamsi Enaganti. For pre teens, Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan will conduct a confidence building workshop through stories and role-playing activites inspired by nature. The concluding workshop with facilitator Vinita Siddhartha is all about play, learning strategies and synergy through India’s traditional games.
