He stated in Hindi, which translates to, “Many people have an opinion about her skin colour, which makes me laugh. What is the skin color of the majority of Indians? Is everyone fair-skinned? I am from Himachal which is why I am fair. And if you are dark or have a dusky skin tone, what is wrong with that?”
Continuing his thoughtful response, Aayush questioned the societal double standard. “Why are people constantly running behind a skin color? We discuss ‘Black Lives Matter’ in the United States, yet here we mock the skin color of our people.”
