On the occasion of what would have been Yash Chopra’s 92nd birth anniversary, his son and renowned filmmaker, Aditya Chopra, has taken a significant step to honor his father’s legacy by launching a scholarship programme aimed at nurturing new talent in the Hindi film industry. The initiative is spearheaded by the Yash Chopra Foundation (YCF), Yash Raj Films (YRF)’s philanthropic division. This endeavor promises financial assistance to the children of Hindi film industry members from low-income groups who wish to pursue varied branches of filmmaking, thereby nurturing the next generation of industry stalwarts.
