Amitabh Bachchan reportedly rents out his Oshiwara property for a whopping Rs 2.07 crores annually

According to credible sources, a music company has become the new tenant of Bachchan’s property against an impressive sum of Rs 2.07 crore per annum.

MoneyControl reports that Amitabh Bachchan has leased four commercial office spaces in the Andheri West area of Oshiwara. These properties span approximately 10,000 square feet. The rent set for these commercial spaces is pegged at the mentioned yearly amount while a security deposit of Rs 1.03 crore has been duly collected. Documents obtained by Propstack.com reveal that Warner Music India Limited is the lessee, with a term agreement of five years.

It has been speculated that these office spaces were acquired by Bachchan in August for a total of about 7.18 crore. A notable feature of this investment is the three-year lock-in period, coupled with the provision of approximately 12 parking spaces. Adding to the transaction details, reports indicate that a stamp duty of Rs 2.88 lakh was paid on the 30th of November as part of the leasing formalities.

This move by Amitabh Bachchan is reflective of a broader trend among celebrities who are looking towards real estate as a lucrative investment avenue, particularly in light of its return on investment potential. This cohort of savvy investors includes names such as Kartik Aaryan, who has secured an office space of nearly 2100 square feet priced at Rs 10 crore. In the same vein, Kajol and her superstar husband Ajay Devgn have made real estate purchases valued at Rs 7.64 crore and Rs 45 crore, respectively.
