New Delhi: The much-anticipated cinematic narrative ‘LSO90’s’ (Love Story of 90’s) is preparing to evoke nostalgia with its upcoming release, as Sangani Brothers Motion Pictures comes on board to produce this romantic saga. Keepers of the production reins, brothers Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani, have enlisted the directorial acumen of Amit Kasaria to bring this dream project to life.
Gracing the silver screen in this emotive tale will be Adhyayan Suman, whose artistry in the craft of acting has been widely recognized, and he will share screen space with the stellar and graceful Miss Universe Diva, Divita Rai. As the storyline promises a journey back to the 90’s, where romance blossomed in its most quintessential form, the film aims to capture the essence of that era.
In a move that bridges geographical and cultural divides, the production has chosen to collaborate with the acclaimed Pakistani singer-songwriter, Atif Aslam. Known for his soul-stirring renditions and musical virtuosity, Aslam represents the ethos that music knows no boundaries. His audio alchemy has carved a distinct place in the hearts of listeners across borders, making him an integral part of this cinematic endeavor.
Atif Aslam’s tryst with Bollywood has a rich history, punctuated by chart-topping melodies that have left indelible marks on Indian cinema. His lyrical interpretations in 2008 of ‘Pehli Nazar Mein’ and ‘Bakhuda Tumhi Ho’ from ‘Race’ and ‘Kismat Konnection’ affirmed his status as a maestro of the love ballad. Soon after, 2009 witnessed the echoing success of ‘Tu Jaane Na’ and ‘Tera Hone Laga Hoon’ from ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’, alongside their remixes – performances that garnered him copious accolades and nominations.
Continuing his ascendancy in Bollywood playback singing, Atif Aslam’s ‘Jeena Jeena’ from the 2015 film ‘Badlapur’ became an anthem of sorts, ruling charts and earning a nomination for the best playback singer. His harmonious rendition of ‘Dil Diyan Galla’ in 2017’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ further consolidated his position as an artist who could weave magic with mere vocals.
Atif’s involvement in ‘LSO90’s’ after a hiatus of almost 7 to 8 years has created a palpable excitement among his fans and within the industry. “Atif Aslam is staging a comeback, which is sheer bliss. We are ecstatic as he has lent his voice to the very first song in our film ‘LSO90’s’,” relayed the proud producers. “Bringing Atif on board was a challenge, given his selective nature, but upon presenting the storyline and the talented cast ensemble, he was swayed and eagerly joined our musical venture,” they highlighted, noting the auspicious moments of pride and joy for the production house.
Anticipation swirls in the air as the Sangani brothers hint at the possibility of another track featuring the vocal genius, ensuring his romantic melody aligns perfectly with the film’s title and ambiance. They expressed, “Atif’s song is a poised hit for 2024, combining harmonious visuals, lyrical depth, and melodic allure.”
As speculations rise within Bollywood on the romantic number’s magnificence due to Atif’s comeback, the Sangani brothers resonate with hopeful fans, “Let’s hope for the best!”
The producers also divulged that Atif Aslam is not the only musical titan to grace the film’s album. Industry veterans like Udit Narayan and Amit Mishra, along with Aman Trikha, have contributed their stellar vocals. A remarkable track dedicated to Ganpati Bappa by Aman Trikha adds to the ensemble’s versatility. On behalf of the production house, the Sangani brothers extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the contributing artists. Their collective aspirations are set high, with aspirations that ‘LSO90’s’ will boast the finest album of 2024, capturing the spirit of the 90’s and celebrating the transcendental nature of music and love.
