Esha Gupta flew from Madrid to Delhi specifically to vote. Speaking to ETimes, she shared her longstanding habit of voting in Delhi. “Ever since I turned 18, I have only voted from Delhi. I never felt the need to change my voting address to Mumbai because Delhi is home. It’s a family tradition – we go together to vote, then return home, eat, and discuss politics,” Esha said. She added she felt strongly about exercising her right to vote, emphasizing that complaining about issues without participating in the electoral process was not productive. “Politics has been the central topic of discussion among my friends and family ever since I landed in Delhi earlier this week,” she noted.

Actress Chitrangda Singh also made her civic duty a priority on Saturday. She proudly displayed her inked finger in a picture she posted on her Instagram stories, dressed in a vibrant kurta, and urged others to participate in the democratic process. “Go exercise your most important right,” she captioned the image, adding a “Voted” sticker.

The sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections is expansive, covering eight seats in Bihar, all ten seats in Haryana, a single seat in Jammu and Kashmir, four seats in Jharkhand, all seven seats in Delhi, six in Odisha, 14 in Uttar Pradesh, and eight in West Bengal. A remarkable total of 889 candidates are vying for votes in this phase.
