. Prior to the sangeet, on July 2, the Ambanis organized a mass wedding ceremony for the underprivileged at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar. This showcased not only their grandeur but their commitment to philanthropy as well.

On July 3, another significant ceremony, the Mameru, was organized. A traditional Gujarati pre-wedding event, the Mameru involves the maternal uncle of the bride visiting her with sweets and gifts. This event set the tone for the mainstream celebrations which are scheduled to kick off on July 12.

The main wedding ceremonies will begin with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function on Friday, July 12. Sources close to the family have indicated that guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional Indian attire, further enhancing the cultural authenticity of the celebrations.

The wedding festivities will not conclude after the Shubh Vivah. The celebrations will continue the next day, Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad, a traditional event seeking blessings for the newlyweds. The final event, Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14. The reception promises to be another grand event, closing the wedding celebrations on a high note.

Earlier this year, the couple hosted a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar which featured a star-studded guest list from around the globe. These events laid the foundation for the grand celebrations in Mumbai, reflecting the couple’s penchant for tradition blended with modern extravagance.
