Chandrababu Naidu to be Sworn in as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister on June 12

Telugu Desam Party leader K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju confirmed in a statement that TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is set to take the oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12 at precisely 4:55 PM. “Nara Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as Andhra Pradesh CM on the 12th of June at 4:55 PM. It’s an extraordinarily joyous moment for the people of Andhra Pradesh,” said Raju.

The positive sentiment was echoed by another statement from Naidu himself, who expressed his appreciation for the accolades from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The way Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated our leaders is truly heartening. Both our state leaders, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, have shown immense respect towards Modi Ji. Given the considerable damage caused by former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, we are in dire need of support from the Centre,” Naidu commented.

When questioned on whether the TDP had put forward specific demands for ministries in Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet, Raju clarified, “I don’t think so, because that is not my domain to comment on. Our party leader is not the sort of person who demands. Through his excellent relationships, he can achieve a lot but he never makes demands.”

During a recent National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting, Naidu affirmed that Narendra Modi is the “right leader at the right time” for India and reiterated TDP’s support for the NDA. Naidu did not stop there; he formally proposed the name of Narendra Modi for the position of Prime Minister, emphasizing Modi’s visionary principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Viksit Bharat’. He urged his colleagues never to miss “the good opportunity for India.”

“NDA’s government, under the leadership of PM Modi, has initiated numerous transformative policies over the last decade. Narendra Modi has a clear vision and unparalleled zeal; his policy implementation is meticulous. Today, India has the right leader at the right time, and that is Narendra Modi. This is an incredible opportunity for India; missing it now means the loss would be irrevocable. We have a wonderful opportunity before us,” Naidu declared while addressing the assembly of NDA MPs at the Samvidhan Sadan in the Parliament building on Friday.

“I proudly propose the name of Narendra Modi Ji on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party for the esteemed post of Prime Minister of this great nation. Through his strategic vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Viksit Bharat’, and with the collaborative efforts of the NDA, we can aspire to become a zero-poverty nation. This transformation is achievable through Narendra Modi’s leadership,” Naidu asserted.

Moreover, he invoked the legacy of the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, the late NT Rama Rao, linking Rao’s vision of humanism with Narendra Modi’s vision for India. “TDP has longstanding relations with the NDA. My leader and the party’s founder, NT Rama Rao Garu, always worked tirelessly for the people. He used to emphasize that he did not follow any ideology except humanism. This same vision is what Narendra Modi Ji is actualizing for India today,” Naidu remarked. “This is the proudest moment of my life,” he added.

Earlier this week, leaders of the parties forming the NDA convened a meeting and passed a resolution electing Narendra Modi as their leader. According to insider sources, Modi is poised to take the oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term on June 9.

This announcement has brought a wave of enthusiasm among TDP supporters and the broader NDA alliance, further reaffirming the coalition’s consolidated strength.

In other related news, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has been witnessing an increase in its support base across various constituencies, with party members actively engaging in grass-root level activities to ensure a seamless transition of governance. Senior leaders have been mobilizing efforts to strengthen the party’s presence and foster closer ties with the NDA’s central leadership as they prepare for this crucial phase of governance.

As the date approaches, extensive preparations are underway for the swearing-in ceremony, which promises to be an event marked by significant political and social importance. The oath-taking ceremony is expected to attract wide media coverage, providing a platform for Chandrababu Naidu to outline his roadmap for Andhra Pradesh under the new administration.
