The first trailer for Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy has been unveiled by Peacock. It is the documentary about the tainted rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The documentary is set for a premiere on January 14, 2025. The trailer shows many people known to Combs talking about the rapper who is in prison, facing multiple criminal charges and more than a dozen lawsuits.
Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, with a runtime of 90 minutes, is set to chronicle the early days of Combs, which will involve crucial insights into the people and incidents that shaped the mogul. Sean Combs was arrested in September, 2024. He was charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The official logline of the documentary says, “Featuring never-before-seen footage and stories from those who know him best, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy sheds light on his childhood, rise to fame, and recent criminal allegations, challenging viewers to rethink everything they thought they knew about the mogul behind the music—and the mugshot.”

Apple Entertainment, Blink Films and FGW Productions have produced Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy. Ari Mark, Phil Lott, Sumit David, Stephanie Frederic, Laura Jones, and Justine Kershaw are the executive producer. Sara Lavery is the co-executive producer.
