After it’s blockbuster run in theatres, the Pradeep Ranganathan-starrer Dragon is set to drop on OTT. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the Tamil film had released in theatres on February 21, 2025.
The movie, which talks about a youngster’s crooked attempt to become successful in life, also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Myskkin and Kayadu Lohar. Dragon is produced by AGS Entertainment. The movie is set to drop on Netflix on March 21, 2025. The film will be available in Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu.
The Hindi review of the film said, “Stories like Dragon need to be told, at a time when unemployment, social media-driven envy, and a general sense of dissatisfaction have gripped the youth.” In the film, Pradeep Ranganathan plays D Raghavan, a flawed protagonist whose nefarious ways to become successful threatens to destroy his relationship, employment and family.
Pradeep Ranganathan, who debuted as a director with Comali in 2019, made his sophomore movie Love Today, in which he starred as the protagonist as well. The 2022 film, also produced by AGS Entertainment, was a runway hit. The movie was remade in Hindi as Loveyapa, starring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan.

Pradeep will next be seen in Love Insurance Kompany, directed by Vignesh Sivan. Pradeep has co-written the movie with Vignesh and SJ Suryah. The movie is produced by Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar and LK Vishnu Kumar under the banners Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio respectively.
