Hesham Abdul Wahab Set to Make Mark in Tamil Cinema with ‘Once More’

The vibrant landscape of Tamil cinema is eagerly awaiting a fresh breeze of music as celebrated composer Hesham Abdul Wahab is set to make his debut with the forthcoming film ‘Once More’. This film, which marks a new collaboration in the industry, brings together acclaimed actors Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar under the visionary direction of debutant filmmaker Vignesh Srikanth.

Produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan of Million Dollar Studios and co-produced by VR Vamsi of FYNTEMAX, ‘Once More’ is all set to captivate audiences not only with its intriguing narrative but also through its compelling musical score. Hesham Abdul Wahab, known for his melodious compositions in Malayalam films such as ‘Hridayam’ and ‘Sesham Mike-il Fathima’, as well as in Telugu hits like ‘Kushi’ and ‘Hi Nanna’, will bring his unique style to this vibrant region of Indian cinema. The music industry in Tamil Nadu is abuzz with anticipation as Wahab’s entry is expected to introduce a new musical dimension to the film.

The film’s title, ‘Once More’, resonates with fans of Tamil cinema as it shares its name with a 1997 hit directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The original ‘Once More’ featured an ensemble cast including Sivaji Ganesan, Vijay, Simran, and Saroja Devi, with the film marking Simran’s debut in Tamil cinema. This connection brings a nostalgic touch to the new film while promising a fresh and contemporary experience.

The excitement surrounding the film is palpable, with both Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar expressing their enthusiasm for the project. The narrative promises to be a feel-good romantic tale, something that Das underscores in his message to fans, particularly acknowledging the advice of a grandmotherly figure who hoped for a light, emotionally uplifting film. “So for all of you, especially the paati that blessed me – this one is for all of you,” Arjun Das shared in a heartfelt message on social media.

Meanwhile, both lead actors are engaging in multiple projects that underline their versatility and commitment to expanding their horizons. Aditi Shankar is set to appear in ‘Nesippaya’ alongside Akash Murali, directed by Vishnu Varadhan. This film boasts a star-studded cast including Sarath Kumar, Prabhu Ganesan, Khushbu Sundar, and Kalki Koechlin, among others.

Arjun Das, a powerhouse of talent, continues to expand his repertoire. He recently captivated audiences with his performance in ‘Rasavathi’ and is gearing up for his Malayalam debut in the film directed by Ahammed Khabeer. The buzz around this project is heightened by the involvement of Hesham Abdul Wahab, who contributed to the music of Khabeer’s previous work, ‘Madhuram’. Furthermore, Das will showcase his range in ‘Bomb’, directed by Vishal Venkat, alongside Shivathmika Rajashekar, as well as in the Telugu film ‘OG’, where he shares the screen with Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan, under Sujeeth’s direction.
