Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, who underwent a surgery in the US, said he is eager to get back to films as soon as he returns to India. In a video, the veteran actor, along with his wife Geetha Shivarajkumar, thanked his family, friends and doctors for their support and prayers.
Geetha Shivarajkumar, said the actor is “cancer free.” “All the reports are negative, and I am glad to say Shivarajkumar is cancer free,” said the politician-producer. Shivarajkumar admitted that he was slightly tensed about the surgery.

“I shot the climax sequence of my upcoming film 45 in the middle of my treatment. I don’t know where I got the courage from. However, I was a little worried and nervous when I was leaving for the surgery,” he said.
The actor promised his fans that he will back on screen soon. “Doctors have asked me to take it easy in the first month. After that, I will be back to my usual self. You will see the same Shivanna with twice the energy. Until then, I thank you all for the support,” said Shivarajkumar.

The 62-year-old actor has a slew of films lined up. In addition to an untitled project with Karthik Adwaith, Shivarajkumar is set to work with director Srini on A for Anand, an untitled project with Pawan Wadeyar and Hemanth M. Rao’s Bhairavana Konea Paata. He is also awaiting the release of 45, directed by Arjun Janya and starring Upendra and Raj B. Shetty.
