Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat Share a Colourful Celebration of Their First Holi Together

Bollywood’s newest wedded stars, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda, took to social media to share a heartwarming glimpse of their first Holi celebration as a married couple. Embracing the spirit of the festival with endearing affection and vibrant hues, the couple’s Instagram feed was splashed with a video encapsulating the essence of their love, aptly painted in the cheerful colors of Holi.

The festive post showcased Kriti and Pulkit utterly immersed in the joyous occasion, with a particularly touching photograph capturing Pulkit lovingly planting a kiss on Kriti’s cheek, accompanied by the caption, “Hamari pehli holi”, translating to ‘Our first Holi’. This simple yet poignant declaration highlighted the special significance of the moment for the newlyweds.

The union of Pulkit and Kriti, which took place on March 15 in the serene setting of Manesar, was rooted in familial ties and cultural affinity—both having their origins in Delhi and their families residing within the National Capital Region. Hence, it seemed fitting that they would tie the knot at the majestic ITC Grand Bharat, a stone’s throw away from their hometown. This marked a new beginning for Pulkit, who had previously been married to Shweta Rohira.

Having shared screen space in Bollywood projects like ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’, ‘Taish’, and ‘Pagalpanti’, the couple’s relationship blossomed both on and off the set. After their nuptials, the two didn’t hesitate to share mesmerizing snapshots from their wedding day; their heartfelt message finding resonance with fans: “From the deep blue sky, to the morning dew. Through the low and the high, it’s only you.”

Dressed to the nines for their celebrations, Kriti radiated grace in a stunning pink lehenga, while Pulkit complemented her in an exquisite mint green sherwani. Their festivities were intimate, attended only by close family and a few friends from the industry, including Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, and Manjot Singh who came to share in their happiness.

Moving to their professional commitments, Pulkit recently captivated audiences in ‘Fukrey 3’, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The film, which is the latest chapter in the popular comedy series and produced by Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, boasts a cast that includes Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha, and Manjot Singh in pivotal roles. Pulkit also made a notable appearance in Zoya Akhtar’s acclaimed web series ‘Made in Heaven’ Season 2.

Kriti Kharbanda’s trajectory in the film industry commenced with her debut in the Telugu movie ‘Boni’ in 2009. Her foray into Bollywood was marked by her role in the 2016 film “Raaz: Reboot”, but it was her standout performance in ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ in 2017 that garnered her significant acclaim. Fans eagerly await her upcoming venture, ‘Risky Romeo’, a comedy directed by Abir Sengupta, where she stars opposite Sunny Singh.

As the couple takes strides in their personal and professional lives, the public eye remains enamored with their love story—one that’s celebrated not just on the auspicious occasions but every day on and off screen. The festival of Holi, with all its vibrancy and symbolism, has become a canvas for Pulkit and Kriti to color their love story, sharing with fans and well-wishers a peek into their journey as partners in life and love.
