The trailer for Dhanush’s new directorial,Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), with music by GV Prakash, is here. A romantic comedy, the film stars Pavish, Anikha Surendran and Priya Prakash Varrier along with Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan and Siddharth Shankar.
The trailer, which begins with a shot of Dhanush calling the film “a usual story”, introduces us to the slew of characters and the relationship dynamics they share.

The story seems to revolve around two couples, one of the couple in what seems to be an early phase of their relationship and the other one who is all set for their wedding. What happens when one of them from each of these duos has a shared past seems to be the plot of NEEK.
Leon Britto is the film’s cinematographer while G.K Prasanna is in charge of editing. Produced by Dhanush’s parents Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja under his home banner Wunderbar Films, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is slated for release in cinemas on February 21. This is Dhanush’s third directorial after Pa Paandi (2017) and last year’s Raayan.
Interestingly, Dhanush’s fourth directorial, Idli Kadaiis also slated to release this year. The film, starring Nithya Menen and Rajkiran, will hit theatres on April 10.
