Authorities suspect Anmol Bishnoi — the sibling of incarcerated gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi — to be behind the post. By channeling the connection through a VPN, the user was able to create a secure, encrypted tunnel to a server operated by the VPN provider, effectively concealing personal data and the true IP address, which in turn would allow unrestricted access past online blocks and firewalls.
