Salman Khan arrives at Mumbai airport after a security scare at his Panvel farmhouse

Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s brightest stars, made a closely-guarded appearance at Mumbai’s private airport on December 9. Known for his distinctive style that often includes a signature brown shirt, the actor was seen donning this look paired with black pants as he exited the Kalina airport. His attire was completed with a black cap, a routine accessory for the ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ actor.

As Salman Khan arrived at the Mumbai airport, there was a noticeable increase in security. This heightened alert comes in the wake of recent events that have put the actor’s safety in the spotlight. Salman Khan seemed unfazed by the heavy presence of bodyguards as he casually waved to the eagerly waiting paparazzi stationed just outside the airport premises before making his way to his vehicle.

The need for enhanced security measures became evident after an unsettling encounter at Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse, which was reported by ANI, citing Police Inspector Anil Patil of Panvel Taluka. On January 4, two individuals, later recognized as trespassers, attempted to gain unauthorized access to the actor’s property. The encroachers, upon being apprehended by the security staff, provided fictitious names and addresses. They are currently in custody, following this breach of the actor’s private residence.

This incident led the Mumbai Police in November of the previous year to reassess the security arrangements assigned to Salman Khan. Consequently, he was granted Y+ security classification a few months prior to this occurrence. The police released a statement conveying the urgency of the review process: “Following the threat, a review was conducted of the actor’s security to ensure there are no loopholes. We have also reached out to him, told him to be alert, and discussed a few things with regard to his security.”

Adding to the perilous situation, Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently serving time for a drug smuggling offense investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), sent a menacing note subsequent to an attack on Gippy’s residence in Canada. In his message, Bishnoi threatened, “Your close ties with Salman Khan won’t protect you. It’s time for your ‘brother’ to step up and defend you. This message also extends to Salman Khan: don’t fool yourself into thinking Dawood Ibrahim can safeguard you from our reach. No one can save you. Your ostentatious response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death didn’t go unnoticed. You were well aware of his character and his criminal connections.”

He went further to state, “Till the time Vicky Middhukhera was alive, you would always hover around, and later, you mourned Sidhu more. You’re also now on our radar, and you will now witness what deceiving means. This was just a trailer. The whole film will be released soon. Run away to any country, but remember, death doesn’t require any visa; it would come where it has to.”

The stern and foreboding content of Bishnoi’s message indicates the gravity of the threats faced by Salman Khan, necessitating stringent protection protocols and reinforcing the importance of the stringent security measures observed at the Mumbai airport during his recent arrival.
