Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt on Saturday (March 29) confirmed working with Salman Khan on a new action film. Recently, Salman at a press meet disclosed that he will feature in a big, ‘rustic’ action film with Sanjay. The actors had famously collaborated on the romantic musical Saajan and the comedy film Chal Mere Bhai.
Sanjay Dutt attended the trailer launch for his upcoming horror-comedy film The Bhootni in Mumbai on Saturday. Speaking at the event, the actor praised the trailer for Salman Khan’s Sikandar, releasing in theatres on March 30,
“The trailer is superhit,” Sanjay, 65, said. “Salman is my younger brother. I always pray for him. God has given him a lot. Sikandar will be a superhit film.”
On reteaming with Salman after 25 years, he added, “Yes we working together. After Saajan and Chal Mere Bhai, you will see our ‘tashaan’ (swag). It is an action movie. I am very happy that I am working with my younger brother after 25 years.”
Salman, speaking with the Mumbai press, had stated about the film: “After Sikandar, I am doing another big film that will have next-level action. I mean rustic action. I’m doing it with my older brother in the industry, Sanjay Dutt.”
It was reported earlier that Salman and Sanjay Dutt will be seen in an American thriller shot in the Middle East.
The Bhootni is a horror-comedy revolving around a haunted tree. Sanjay Dutt plays a ghosthunter up against Mouni Roy in the film. It is releasing in theatres on April 18, 2025.
