The film has also smartly organized paid previews with two shows in select theaters on Wednesday. Its opening weekend earnings could well reach around Rs 120 crore.” Vishek Chauhan, who owns a cinema chain in Bihar, emphasized how ‘Stree 2’ benefits from the celebrated success of its 2018 predecessor. He believes that the film could have easily opened to over Rs 50 crore if it weren’t for competing releases like ‘Vedaa’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein.’
