The shooting for SDGM commenced on June 22 in Hyderabad, where production designer Avinash Kolla has meticulously constructed a section of a village set for the pivotal introduction sequence of Deol’s character. Joining him in this venture are actresses Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher, adding star power and diverse talent to the film.

“I’ll present him in a never-before-seen action avatar. After ‘Gadar 2’ was released, I narrated the story to Sunny sir. He said yes immediately, adding that he was looking for this kind of role. Sunny sir doesn’t play a man in uniform. While it is the story of a common man who takes on the system to fight for what is right, it is an unusual concept. The story is inspired by various real-life incidents, which people will understand when they watch the movie,” Malineni said.

We have cast a top south actor as the antagonist, which we will reveal when the time is right,” Malineni disclosed.
