Tamannaah Bhatia Defends John Abraham Against Criticism at Vedaa Trailer Launch

At the recent trailer launch of the highly anticipated film Vedaa, celebrated actor John Abraham found himself at the center of a controversy when a journalist challenged the originality of his work, suggesting that his action movies have become repetitive. The comment clearly struck a nerve with Abraham, who has built a career as one of India’s premier action heroes. However, in a display of solidarity, fellow actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who plays a supporting role in Vedaa, came to his defense, arguing that the film offers more than the traditional action fare and has layers that set it apart. The movie is set to hit theaters on August 15 and aims to provide a fresh take on the action genre.

Tamannaah Bhatia took to her social media account to share the trailer and express her thoughts in a passionate message. She urged viewers not to judge Vedaa merely by its action facade. “Don’t judge Vedaa by its cover. Trust me when I say, it’s more than just an action film! My friend @TheJohnAbraham, one of the nation’s favorite action heroes, is bringing his incredible influence to a genre he’s totally mastered. This time, he’s telling a different kind of story through action, showing just how deeply this genre can convey meaningful cinematic experiences today,” she wrote.

In her message, Bhatia also highlighted the return of director Nikhil Advani to the director’s chair after a hiatus of six or seven years, adding an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to the film’s release. She praised the film’s cast and crew, particularly mentioning co-star Sharvari, stating that audiences would be thrilled to see her performance. “What’s even more exciting, personally to me, is that Nikhil Advani is returning to the director’s chair after 6 or 7 years, which adds yet another layer of anticipation to our film. I can’t miss on mentioning #Sharvari here and how I just can’t wait for y’all to see her kill it on the big screen yet again!” she added.

Outside of her professional responsibilities promoting Vedaa, Tamannaah Bhatia has been making significant moves in her personal and business life. A recent report revealed that Bhatia has rented out several properties in Mumbai. The actress has mortgaged a commercial property in Juhu and leased three residential properties in Andheri West. According to Hindustan Times, the total mortgage for her residential properties is valued at Rs 7.

Her residential properties, located on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West, span a total area of 2595 square feet and have been mortgaged for Rs 7.84 crore. So far, Tamannaah Bhatia has not publicly commented on her latest real estate ventures.

The couple further fueled speculations by appearing together in the segment ‘Lust Stories 2.’ After months of circulating rumors about their relationship status, Tamannaah confirmed her relationship with Vijay Varma in June last year during an interview.
