Ankit Gupta, who is currently seen playing Rannvijay in the popular show ‘Maati Se Bandhi Dor,’ shared the special bond he shares with his brother. “This year I’ll be shooting on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, and if I get a day off or pack up early, I’ll celebrate it with my brother, as I don’t have a sister. Over the years, my bond with my brother has grown even more special and stronger,” he disclosed. Reflecting on his childhood, he added, “Being the youngest, I have always been showered with love. One of my fondest memories of Raksha Bandhan would be when my cousin sisters used to tie rakhis that had watches; I adored those.”
Rutuja Bagwe, who portrays Vaiju in ‘Maati Se Bandhi Dor,’ also shared her plans for the day. “This year, I’ll be shooting. I don’t have a brother, but my sister ties me a rakhi every year. I prefer tying rakhis made of chandan, and I always give my sister a gift of her choice,” commented Rutuja. She added, “The happiness on her face is something I wait for and feel elated to see. Though being my younger sister, there are certain aspects where she takes on the elder sibling’s role. And me, being the elder one, I take care of her like a mother. This is a very special bond we share, creating memories for life.”

Raizada has something special planned this year, revealing, “This year’s Raksha Bandhan is going to be even more special as I’ll be surprising one of my cousin sisters with a jersey she has wanted for a long time. She’s a football player, and I’m finally gifting her the jersey. It’s for all these little moments of happiness that we live for and celebrate.”

Each year, my bond with him has evolved. We are like Tom and Jerry; even if we fight, we cannot stay away from each other. With each new day, there is something new we learn from one another.
